Flower Power does things a bit differently than most florists...

• Everything we do is made to order to ensure that your flowers are the freshest available and exactly what you want. Advance requests are always appreciated but we can generally fill same day orders made by noon.
• By remaining a home-based business, we're able to offer high quality floral designs at very competitive prices. While we have a spacious, well-equpped studio, we don't have to pass the expense of a retail storefront on to our customers.
• Orders can be picked up at our home or we can deliver for a small fee. We are conveniently located just off I-29 in Kansas City's Northland. Scroll down for directions.

Who We Are

Kelley Grau is Flower Power's owner. She has spent her career in the floral and horticultural industry, starting as a floral designer at a friend's shop while still in high school. While she has always pursued her passion for design, she also worked for several years as a fresh flower salesperson for one of our area's largest floral wholesalers. Through this experience, Kelley accumulated a broad knowledge of the variety of materials that can be used in design and who the preferred suppliers are. She also gained unique insight into the economics of being a retail florist. Retail rents, large staffs and participation in the national floral marketing networks are costs that add nothing to the quality of the product but which must be passed to the customer. When she decided to start her business, it had to be done in a way that would allow her to devote all of her energy to providing personal service and outstanding designs at affordable prices. The result is Flower Power.

How To Find Us

We work out of our home at 5708 NW Red Haw Lane in Platte Woods, just east of the 72nd street exit off I-29. With it's cheerful orange and white paint, our house is easy to spot.
